JR ,
Please understand I'm not having a go at you for your landlord skills or suggesting you might be good or bad . I'm really not interested in getting involved in personal criticisms .
I'm just saying that if you had a less than satisfactory time in property investing , maybe having less experience contributed to it somewhat . That part of the discussion really has little to do with the general direction of property prices .
Maybe we should start a landlord/tenant thread ? That could be interesting .
You would have to agree that with anything you do , the harder you work at it , the better your results . Clearly you are good at analyzing markets and as you have said , you really enjoy it as well . That's a perfect combination I reckon .
As for where property is going , I concur that it's hard to see that it will continue on as it has . That said , it's actually happening at the moment so I'm comfortable sticking with it .
That doesn't mean I'm not keeping an eye on all the economic data I can from both here and overseas in order to develop an opinion .
I'm quite sure that the stock market is going to crash sometime in the future . When , I don't know .
That doesn't mean I'm staying out of the stock market though . I'll stay in till I think a crash is imminent , and then I'll be out , just the same as property .
