I suppose when you walk down the street there are some (very few !!! and I mean very few !!!) Aussies that would like to see you "p!ss of back home", and I guess you feel that.

However, I am absolutely certain that your kids' friends couldn't even comprehend where your family comes from let alone think why it would matter, other than for good !!!!!. They are too concerned about who is going to play tiggy !!! They would notice the differences in skin colour, just as they notice different jumpers, or different track suits, or different hair colour, or different snacks and lunches.

Skin colour and race mean nothing to kids.

Happy little world isn't it ?

We can continue to improve our lot as adults by keeping our prejudices (if we have any) away from our kids.
