There's no way that SS with its paltry 3.3kt contained Ni is going to be anything more than a blending resource that helps up the average of production from the BS pit (where the real tonnage is). How come they can restart and make this work but not POS?!

Because at 2.7-2.8% (slide on p.10) Venus' average Ni grades are materially higher than our weighted average SS/BS grade of 0.72%. There are also much better economies of scale of with a much larger ore body.

(*Our SS/BS Resources averages are also similar-to-slightly worse.)

Slight correction: I'll retract that comment about the much larger ore body for Venus. The main point of difference (the average grades) stands.
