    hi paperclip. not sure about darvas but what you are describing sounds like elliott wave theory based on fibonacci numbers - i think he has some like 5 waves in an upward move and 3 in a down. a wave could be an upleg or a correction. further there can be waves within waves! it gets complicated and i don't really have a grasp of it.
