    Agree KKR.

    Bill also indicated that the $150 million demand seemed to have no valid basis.
    No validation given by Government.
    Guessing - it may have been based on a later buy out as Anvil increased its stake-hold.

    Certainly very strong grounds for having this demand reduced substantially - or removed completely.

    There is a suggestion that World Bank will take on a coercive role.
    But this has only been inferred and is not categorical.

    The bottom line now is - Is the Congo Government going to be stubborn and insistent?
    Or will the Government be rational and prepared to compromise?

    Difficult Questions?

    Somehow I think being prepared compromise is a strong possibility.
