Our timing was good. Tullow made a very fair offer. The oil is there in Mauritania and will come out of the ground eventually but perhaps the price of oil needs to rise to make the venture economical. Woodie might want to sell but this is a buyers market and I doubt there would be many takers unless Woodie were prepared to give it away.
I think Woodie are stuck with Mauritania for the time being. I bet they are monitoring the spend for this area very carefully. For them it has become a money pit
Good luck with your future investments. I have Tullow shares now and look forward to them climbing to around A$25 in say two years time
