lol, these discussions are really becoming rediculous.. don't take the bait UT. Our evaporative system works great here in Adelaide. I feel sorry for my sister who has a 7.5kW central cooling - her bills have skyrocketed.

I own a couple of IP's and it's my choice, my risk / gamble etc. Some choose to play the pokies or gamble away their savings on lotto. I know it's for the long term and at the end of the day if prices fall or I go bankrupt I still have family who would help with a roof over my head.

And all this about investing in gold - you can't eat gold, so what's the use of it. If the economy gets 'that' bad, what industry is going to need gold?, the electronics industry isn't going to need it - the sales won't be there ; what the jewelery industry? lol
