i am in a position where couldnt sell either way CGT

so the choice was hold onto SMM or accept PDN
I accepted PDN in the belief that because of such a high offer for an EXPLORATION company the offer would be done and dusted quickly.

i have now learnt that even though SMM was placed on an extremely high valuation the offer is still been dragged out.

IMO SMM mgt have done this to themselves as they brought areva in to force the higher PDN bid. now they have created a mess of a takeover where even SMM ceo must now be concerned at taxation implications.

i just wish this mess would be over and done with.
