SG i think you'll find that I did post that CGE is continuing to drill in QLD, nothing factually wrong there. The point is they have said that UCG is unlikely to be commercially viable in QLD. They then came out and announced a drilling plan for QLD which comes across as though they are contradicting themselves.
You say the drilling is not being done as Biloela. If you check the map, 1507 is 20 mins from Biloela. Yes granted, their other 2 planned drills are near the gold cost. But where are all these places located? Which state? Which state did CGV wan't commercially viable for UCG?
Now this is very interesting. You say 1506 isn't a designated CGV tenement. Then what is it? My research tells me you're wrong. 1506, the EPC that CGV will focus it's drilling on is most certainly a CGV UCG target. You might want to dig a bit deeper there. I will help you. Lets go right back to the prospectus:-
CGV Prospectus-EPC 1506.
"Within EPC1506 and 1539 historical coal workings trending NE-SW between Clifton, Allora and tannymmorel provide potential exploration targets. Exploration for Shallow coal deposits has clearly established the presence of thin coal seams in the area. The area was relinquished in 1982 based on the conclusion that economic open cut recovery would be marginal at best. This is because of the high coal ash content, high stone banding, tertiaty basalts and sedimentary cover. The coal targeted by CGV will be the same coal seams as identified above. However, characteristics detrimental to open cut extraction, can be favourable to cgv's UCG technology. "
So shareguru, after reading that would you like to explain how 1506 is not a CGV UCG tenement?
The other 2 sites are both for UCG also. I have pointed that out before.
And you say you have made enquiries about mineral F. The point is, they may well have made an application to the QLD gov, however they recently announced that UCG is unlikely to be commercial viable in QLD-so they don't sound very confident of getting it!

Am not in anyway saying that CGV should be where cougar is now, that was not the point of the post. The point of the post was to show solarfeen that CXY has not simply been idling by for the past three years meanwhile CGV are flying ahead, as he made out.
My reason for choosing CXY is based upon the fact that CXY is the only Oz based company to have ties with ergo exergy, who have strong ties with the only commercial UCG plant in the world's history, Angren. Anything else at this stage IMO I see as unproven and risky.
In saying that, I don't believe it's a 'race' or a 'competition' about who can do this or that first. I couldn't give 2 hoots who is first, I am interested only in CXY being successful. More importantly it's about who can do it well, as this is a groundbreaking area.
You've seen what it takes to get to where CXY is now. Don't expect a quick breeze through for CGV on a shoestring budget without more capital raisings as if you are, you are going to be bitterly disapointed. They have alot of work ahead of them and it is not going to be cheap. I do think there will be opportunities for me to have a look at CGV later and at a lower buyin. That said, I do believe CGV has alot of potential and has 'hit the ground running', so to speak.
SG i think you'll find that I did post that CGE is continuing to...
