Yes, Singapore does have its own swipe card system for vehicles entering from Malaysia. The article I posted referred correctly to vehicles entering Malaysia from Singapore and you are correct that DNEX has a charge card system in place. This is owing to the interminable delays in getting the rfid system commissioned. The equipment is installed and operational. What appears to be the holdup is the issuance of the tags. The DNEX charge card solution is an interim measure, given that the planned VEP system is 12 months delayed.
