History is never ever irrelevent!
! Nor do I believe we are going to have some sort of financial/political armageddon. A recession isn't the end of the world or civisisation and they don't usually last very long anyway. If that were to happen I imagine I would do the same as everybody else if I was unable to feed myself due to chronic shortages....I'd attack the farmers for what they have to offer!!! that's always been the way and always will be..and still I'd have the gold hidden somewhere for a decent barter..now that's almost a no lose situation for me isn't it?
