stja, i agree with your comments re ASIC. no chance in hell they will ever do anything about any alleged leaking of information. not going to happen.

but i think retail should be given a chance to buy into an SPP / ENT issue at the same price as the insto's. that way if the price goes up between now and when the offer would happen, we at least have the chance to make back some of our losses without taking as much risk.

i've never complained about small caps raising capital. it is part and parcel of the game. if you want to own a company that doesn't raise capital, then buy BHP. raising capital is what small caps do... however i think retail should always be given the same opportunities as insto's. it is clear discrimination if they don't, whether or not the price falls down to the raising price when it comes out of the trading halt.
