I'm happy to wait for a little while whilst value is added to the company and it's assets are developed. Yes there are better returns right now, old mate next to me at work constantly reminds me I should have gone into his tips of GUF or SFR.

I'm open to admitting that I'm on a paper loss, but then again my trading experience has taught me to not panic at the first sign of a drop if the fundamentals are still there. It's not a loss until it's crystallised.

My philosophy is to find assets which are just turning the corner from digging holes to producing an income with scope for further upside. I can understand to a greater degree where the value lies as opposed to betting on pure speculation ('there's gold in them thar hills')
