yep - felix is being targeted + selloff was overdone + china playing hardball.
i still don't know why falling oil price or a rising oil price really affects coal prices. they aren't really correlated.
high oil - possibly less industrial production but implications for coking coal mainly. people still need power though. gulf states will switch to coal.
low oil price - industrial production possibility of recession means coking coal demand still buoyant. people still need power.
the mix of coking and thermal in large economic quantities sets CDS apart from other coal plays and means they should be insulated from rising or falling oil price.
