The other comment I thought was interesting is from the Dr who has formally petitioned Health Canada to make DurAVR available for use. I took this as possibly different to the SAP request.
As far as Pachacz goes, he is an analyst at Bioshares so has he spoken with someone to get that 200 number or plucked it from thin air ?
I have no idea what number the FDA will set as trials don’t seem to have any hard and fast number from what I have seen, and also we are not reinventing the wheel after all.
There is clearly an urgent demand for our valve in a certain population by the approval for SAP by Health Canada, this need is not restricted to Canada obviously and they work closely with the FDA. Is there a possibility of a smaller trial being made available so that population of patients can get the best treatment available to them. We shall see.
