The current batch of EVs, and their efficiencies are incredible in comparison with old hat ICE cars.
However IMO the vehicle industry will move towards hyper-efficient EVs more like the LightYear0 which only require external charging several times a year. The whole top of that car is A PANEL. Tesla's are NOT EFFICIENT!
The problem is NOT generating sufficient power: it's transferring and storing that power. That's where batteries come in. Many different kinds. Not just LFP or sodium; Horses for courses.
Human kind has no choice, you think the current weather is wild ? It'll be a race to avoid "the uninhabitable planet".
