Hi Don - i agree with both your previous posts.

I think one thing to be done is to demonstrate the economics for the near term situation (ie without assuming future improvements in technology).

For example I once did a naive calc on a beer coaster to demonstrate that a service station that recharges 250 tesla-3 equivalents per day (the number of cars that cross the Nullarbor each day) could pay off in one year a solar farm and the corresponding setup of batteries.

On that basis I concluded that entrapreneurs could set up on highways and small towns and make a great living without being beholden to the energy or oil companies. They would not need to be connected to the grid.

However it would be great if an expert in this field could inform us better.
