I think that the direction of BIL will be decided by the briefing tonight.

The big brokers are telling their clients that they expect it to be "neutral to positive". As far as I can tell this is because they think it is to late in the financial year for a profit warning. Of course HWE did it yesterday so anything is possible.

My guess is that they have called the briefing to try and arrest the fall in share price and they will need to be extraordinarily careful how they word it as people will be looking for hidden messages behind the words.
