Kogas In Final Stage Of Talks With Santos To Buy LNG

SEOUL (Dow Jones)--Korea Gas Corp. (036460.SE), South Korea's largest liquefied natural gas supplier, is in the final stage of talks with Santos Ltd. (STO.AU) to purchase more than 2 million tons a year of LNG, a person with direct knowledge of the matter said Friday.
Kogas will provide around 10% of the investment for the Gladstone LNG project in Australia, the person told Dow Jones Newswires by telephone, adding the decision on the LNG purchase will be announced next month.
