The only reason to do a DST is if you have found gas or oil - the mud engineer on site will have told them this while drilling.

Strange report though - they are testing the basal target formations down to 2735m, and the next paragraph say they are drilling to 2770m - maybe sloppy reporting - someone forgot to remove that paragraph.
