For what its worth & I don't know the significance of this but I found it on Silver Mines Ltd website.
""The names of the twenty largest holders of ordinary shares are listed in the table below:
Rank Shareholder # of Shares %
1 Central West Gold NL 3,000,000 6.94
2 Morning Star Gold NL 3,000,000 6.94""
If they bought at say 5c then that is %150,000.
They also have 500,000 options.
Anyone any idea what the directors thinking would be behind this sought of investment?
My personal thoughts are they would get a better return investing in their own gold prospects.
Later - I may have answered my own question - a common director is Malcolm Harvey Bird although he has since resigned from MCO.
So, what is the next step - do they fold or hold?
We will be awash with money shortly so I suppose it wouldn't hurt to hold if silver is due also to take off in the relative short term.
