It would appear that for some time there has been a concerted effort to suppress the share price, with Bot trading etc. Presumably, it would not be our existing institutional investors - that wouldn't make much sense. So, whose interests are served by keeping a lid on the SP?
The only thing that makes sense (to me at least) is that it is someone who wants (or has been seeking) to take a large stake in the company.
From a psychological perspective, they would be well aware that the closer to read-out, the more nervous smaller holders are likely to be. This may especially be so if they have staked out a higher position than they would ordinarily with a view to selling out a portion pre- read-out to reduce their overall risk.
Any thoughts?
