for all the leftie greenies out there, and those who want to go off grid..

watso lives in perth, and it is hard to recall a sunny day.  normally in winter, perth would be blessed with one or two days of rain, followed by some glorious winter sunshine - but not this year..

    eg for july..

    • Perth Metro recorded 24 rain days, its highest number of rain days in July for 43 years, since 24 rain days were recorded in July 1974
    • Twelve consecutive rain days (19th to 30th) at Perth Metro was its longest wet spell in July for 10 years, since 13 consecutive rain days were recorded from 19 to 31 July 2007.

even on the days that it was not raining, it would have been mostly overcast.

anybody relying on batteries would be bonkers - no matter how good the batteries are.

the average number of hours of bright sunshine for perth, for july, is 189 hours
