DD,
this is part of our history....but the way Young turned it around and developed a deep contact with Sydney's Chinese Community; as well as a sister city in Lanzhou (Gansu province in nw china) got world wide coverage in the late 90s.....very positive reconciliation with Chinese and still appreciated today.
