    Ronsterm, a while ago I found an injured bird, rang WIRES, and they gave me the name of a vet to take it to. The vet does "pro bono" work for injured animals.

    The poor bird had a broken wing, so probably was put down. I never found out.

    Also neightbour's dog had savaged a blue-tongue - similar story.
