    I'm not sure what you are getting at here.

    But, coal mined for export has established, proven benefits for the economy - employment, revenue, community. And the companies and employees are taxpayers - should they not benefit?

    In Qld, the fossil fuel power company paid huge dividends to the govt.

    The Snowy Mountain scheme - how IS that going? Environmental problems, drought problems, equipment wearing out, tunnel collapses ....
