Currently the only way you can get Carbon Revolution CF wheels on a Mustang GT500 is by ticking the pricey $18K track pack option, which includes a bunch of things like carbon fiber spoilers, super sticky semi-slick track tires, rear seat delete etc.
A leaked memo for the upcoming MY21 updates, shows Ford are about to introduce a 'carbon fiber handling package', that includes CF wheels and a few other bits and pieces. Of note, the CF wheels are painted black and the other items are fairly cheap.
I believe this means that Ford is about to offer a cheaper entry point to CBR wheels, and CBR have found a way to sell those fabricated but cannot be clear-coated wheels they have a huge amount of inventory of. Win-win.
This should lead to some decent additional volume, as I imagine this will be a fairly popular option. Also explains one of the conversation points on the previous investor call. Best thing is, this isn't one of the new programs or clients.
