Yes i agree. a pure puff piece and what is the advantage of even putting carbon wheels on a tesla aside from the appearance. teslas are so heavy its called the battery. model x are around 2 Tonnes and model s around 1600 kgs so i would think the diff in weight would be minimal Well CBR has no profit margins on its wheels now so no good news there either Teslas stated aim is to reduce the price of its cars even more so any high price options would probably not fit into its pricing model. Just my thoughts in the piece in the paper
