The brokers in Germany who offer shares on the Frankfurt Exchange have an agent broker here in Australia and buy shares on the ASX to match the demand. It functions similarly to the US OTC market. Every share sold on the Frankfurt Exchange reduces liquidity/supply on the ASX.
