This is a post on alzforum where Lon Schneider from USC tried to dismiss the exec function stat sig improvement and Rudy Tanzi from Harvard comes back to remind him it was stat sig. There is a lot of info there. Trail making test part B has a higher degree of difficulty than part A so maybe you would expect to see improvement there first. The brain atrophy measured was just 2 people from each group and in those a reduction in atrophy was seen.
