one more question from me to the more learned…
The board is obliged to disclose takeover offers.
how does this work in reality…ie could
company A say we are considering an offer of $x would you recommend it to your shareholders? If Jon and the board then said no thank you its not enough, would this stay out of the public domain as its not an official takeover offer? Or is the board obliged to disclose any approach?
