One of the reasons Horizon are testing these three battery types sodium sulphur, zinc-bromine and vanadium is to see how they perform in a hot climate ( Carnarvon, Nullagine, Kununurra). Horizon is looking for longer storage capacity and lower degradation in hot remote communities.
