If forecasts for PNG more generally are reasonably accurate, KSL can handle the gov't tax. Alternatively PNG gov't won;t be so reliant on one.
At the bottom of the post are several charts from IMF, forecasting GDP and inflation around the world. A pleasant surprise...
Firstly, from Linkedin again,
I've a contact up there says the new international airport at Lau - Nadzab International Airport, is nearing completion. He says, "This'll be the transit point for South East Asia route." This is of course in addition to the country's current international airport in Morseby.
One senses the future in PNG is becoming increasingly bright.

Far better than Australia, even allowing for inflation, which is forecast to be higher in PNG than Australia, but not so much higher.
