Sorry tcisboss. Reckon you just failed Logic 101 :) I'm not sure that those in the firing line atm are "tall poppies", whatever those are. Are you in the firing line then? Housing expectations in this country are way out of line with reality. Blame this current mess on bracket creep and cowardly government over the last 30 years. Right now we have a great FIRE economy; aping the US - as usual. So down the tube we go!
Thought I'd add this comment for you - from an American blog that I follow.......a bit out of context but it says something about the way we are.
"I've been hiring out-of-work men in their skilled trades specialty, too. I pay them the if-they-were-working higher rate 'cause everybody deserves to earn a living. They do high-quality work and I receive their gratitude when I give them their check.
