Jimcross that Fairfax/Fewfacts "creative reporting" [here read unmitigated lying] about what Julie Bishop actually said is staggering!
Amazingly Fairfax didn't retract and apologise but instead posted the actual interview dialogue thereby making Fairfax and their reporter look like the scurrilous ratbags they are.

One wonders what it would take for Fairfax to admit they deliberately set out to deceive the Chinese gov't and both the Chinese and Australian peoples.

Wow this is dynamite, I expect there to be repercussions regarding this act of traitorous sedition by Fairfax.
Fancy the highest rank Chinese general, Hong Lei, having to provide a statement denying Julie Bishop said any of those offending remarks.
THIS IS SENSATIONAL STUFF.
The Chinese press will never trust what is written in Fairfax papers ever again for sure.

I mean to say even after the Chinese General refuted and discredited Fairfax's BS story setting out solely to undermine the high standing of our Foreign Affairs Minister, Fairfax still did not retract or apologise, amazing!
Fairfax must be relying on their Australian readers being very dumb or maybe they're simply relying on the old adage 'if you throw enough mud some of it will stick'.
