Sure the salespeople are the ones who sell the property but they are working within the parameters which are set by the government
You really can't blame someone who looks for and finds a legitimate market for their goods. The problem is there are no rules for foreign ownership and Australia must be I'm sure the only country in the world where you can just come in and buy what you want without restriction.
And before the FIRB is mentioned - they are deliberately doing nothing except encouraging the buyers. The politicians are trying to get the building activity up to replace falling mining revenue and they are prepared to give our sovereignty away to further their political aims
