Go and argue with the ATO and the government but not me. I just did a service and let people know. The banks are being forced to do this because of the outcomes of the Royal inquiry as stated in the letter I received. The letter also says if the information is not supplied within 30 days then they may have to restrict the accounts.
Dont start arguing with me as I dont want to hear it, if youre not involved then it does not concern you. If you are then talk to your bank, its that simple.
