Beware, she's a moody one. The action is usually first two hours (5-7 pm) and around US open (11:30 pm). But you can trade pre-market (4-5 pm) if there was overnight news. Otherwise, 4-5 pm an unreliable period. I trade 1 and 5 minute charts based on EMA's and candles. Not sure how structure stuff will work on DAX and indices generally because they aren't really 24 hour markets. If you haven't traded it before, I'm afraid you might lose, and I don't want to take responsibility. One tip is that it always over-reacts both ways. And the little breakout and breakdown candles can have extremely tight stops.

Hard for me to trade setups because of the small timeframe. Maybe I can say something like, "I'm waiting for a candle above the pivot point," or "Looking for a breakdown candle soon", or "I'm following this trend inside the 9 EMA." Tonight's chart had most of the things I look for:

    1. wicks/tails.
    2. breakout/breakdown candles.
    3. trend continuation inside fast EMA's (the fall tonight).
    4. pivot point action.
    5. competition between red and green candles.
