    Hey Guys,

A small update on one of my EA's,

I built a reversal model recently on H6 that showed good returns on GBPUSD. Here are the backtests of the pairs I chose to run through demo testing.

Once I ran these on a demo account with these 4 pairs I had a series of problems initially, When a function was triggered to run in the code on one symbol it would run on all symbols. So that each time a trade was closed on one symbol, if there were any positions opened anywhere else they would close too. (Took me a week to notice this). This was very frustrating and I had to spend a lot of time learning to implement Order and Position Magic in mql5 which I've got the hang of now. There were many ways I could go about the problem but in the end I had to re structure all of the functions that closed trades or altered them, and add more conditions so that on each symbol it was running its own separate operation.

I guess that's what demo accounts are for right???

Once I monitored the transactions and made sure the model was working correctly in every aspect. I started a fresh demo account and let it do its thing - This model has been trading since the 2nd of Feb - Here are the results - Not great.

This is a combined result of running the model on all 4 pairs. Doesn't look promising, But I know I could of turned this EA on right in the middle of a draw down. so IMO it's too early to tell. It is the nature of this model to be in a draw down for a month or two at a time. So It's not necessarily alarming. (This is a total of 18 trades).

I'll use this as a reference and I'll post the results in the next month or two.

Not that exciting, I'm just happy things are up and running, and whilst this model is in its demo testing phase I am developing others since I am solely focused on automated trading now.
