The AUD code is automatic. I reported the post to remove it. Mods say the computer guys are working on a better solution.
Regarding weekly topics, I've noticed that when I'm not interested in a STT thread topic, I don't read the thread. Does that match others experience? If so, then would keeping it a free for all improve participation?
Anyway, @specgoldbug suggested a topic in the last thread:
