The PE silver rope is ideal for pen ropes, not that crap stuff Donaghys make. Occasionally I get a coil with harder lay but usually a medium lay that is easy to work with, lol can't imagine how many KM of rope I have brought over the years let alone how many spices I have done.

I find it interesting at the cost of rope in a chandlery, going on what I pay for it they must mark it up 150-200%

Have not used much pot rope so not that familiar with it other than knowing there is lots of different types.
