Tin closed below its intra-day high, but still rose a substantial $335=1.4% last night. Closing price of $24,332/ton on the LME. Only weeks ago some commentators thought 20,000 would be out of reach. Now some are saying 30,000 easily conceivable. World stkpile shrinking steadily and now has only about 10 days supply. This along with falling production esp from Indonesia, its likely (IMO) that 30,000 mark will be reached within 3-4 months. Every dollar the price of tin rises, goes straight to bottom-line of producers such as MLX. Future looks bright. I bought more at today's open.
