    I'm not suggesting that REE prices will fall for ever, just that its the future of these prices that long-term investors should be concerned about, not what some Malaysian politician says on his blog.

    Yes, HREEs are more valuable than LREEs but the heavy prices have been following the same trend as the light ones.

    Lynas is now bleeding cash at the rate of about $10million every month, they don't have the luxury of being able to wait indefinitely for a pick up in prices. Unlike perhaps some of the Chinese state owned or supported producers.
