"But the twin problem of the political and legal status of the First Nations remains where it was in 1788." CRAP!
Thanks for the historics. However, Aboriginals have had the same, if not more, political and legal rights (and representations) for many decades already.
Their blood sucking, bureaucratic, so called, "representatives" have seriously let them down. It falls on their shoulders, not ours!
They are paid a fortune to resolve the failings of their policies. Where are the jobs? Where is the education? Where is the counselling of proper parenting in a modern (Welfare dependent!) society?, Where is the education for mutual respect, rather than fomentation of hatred against the current non Aboriginal majority? Where is the honesty and "truth telling" surrounding the benefits (taken for granted) of the modern society created by our forefathers in relation to health, wealth and so many opportunities available in society if one gets off their arse!
Even their own kind, from the NIAA and many other government Departments and quangos with over $30BILLION pa hard earned (from work) taxpayer's money cannot resolve their self-imposed deprivation. That comment is directed at those who either do not want to or do not try to contribute to society in any meaningful way.
The enormous benefits available to ALL Australians in our modern society are thanks to the many sacrifices of our forefathers in times of war and peace and the contributions of those through hard toil and the taxes levied for their toil.
The benefits enjoyed by ALL Australian's, workers/contributors/taxpayers and non-contributors/bludgers should be appreciated by all.
If it were not for the workers of this country, those who are lazy, non-contributors, would be in a far worse place in so many ways.
As I have (TIC) suggested in the past, in some ways, there is a justification to actually levy a benefit tax on those who do not appreciate the gracious gifts and generosity of our successive governments in relation to the leaners in our egalitarian society!
I feel fully justified in voting NO in Albo's vanity "VOICE racist proposition.
Those who don't show respect, do not deserve respect!
Albo's vanity driven, racist and extremely divisive "Voice" proposal should rightly fail.
Albo will rightly go down as the most divisive Prime Minister in Australian history!
