Caylus...nice work....but my simple calcs are like this

So far the DOW components that have reported have had $4.04 in earnings (normal underlying earnings before some like Alcoa and JPM had abnormal w/offs etc)....this is 40% beyond expectations of $2.88

20% of DOW weighting is in...its early days yes....but its like polling day...the statistical trend is being set....we have 40% of DOW weighting report by Friday next week...so 60% all up then, unless some of the weightier ones like coke or maccas, 3m or UTC drop a bombshell..there's more good news on the way
