Could well be Warnie, snakes in the den and all that, they have contacts and I would say teams are across other RE's too. Anyway not aimed at you just had some thoughts to post. hope you don't mine me putting them up on a reply.
When someone comes on here and say‘s “ I just want to save you some of your money” who does that!…? Anyway some thoughts.
Some get a tad angry about what seems harsh comments but I am not sure that the less than enthusiastic posters mentioned in various posts are having fun as one poster suggested, not the serious ones anyway, they know the situation many are in and I think most try not to load up on the “I told you so” You have your total wasters who post without thought or just stupid teenage ego etc., but hey this is a free site with no qualifications required, in fact in the most part you have no idea who is who here and to even bother absorbing some text requires that YOU look very carefully at the poster, information exists on all posters.
I think a misunderstanding has developed with Lynas whereby the punters hurt by this fall in SP are looking too hard at the events surrounding Lynas, a little more fuel with events yes, much like Moly obvious stardust issues, Lynas has some local ones too and yes they are important and yes they impact. But the wider issue is the trend in RE, particularly peers, go and find the charts and have a close look, they are still in lock step and yet whilst each has it’s own issues only Lynas has this TOL issue, it is important, but it is not IT. This should give you some comfort because it is a significant point, regardless of what happens with individual players in the RE market it will cycle, always has and always will.
Lots of fuel has fired this RE cycle, not least it’s meteoric rise over the last 24 months, pulling in more and more folks who perhaps were totally unaware of what can happen with so much fuel or to be blunt very weak holders on any turn. This is a massively liquid stock and it is being played not by any politicians IMO but by professionals with identical qualifications and modus operandi as they use on say a Molycorp, I only mention Moly because she too is a fat liquid stock in the same playpen.
To play in this space you must be mentally prepared and financially strong, it sounds odd but you need to be almost as blasé as some of the folks playing with other peoples pro money here, I here you say its easy for them, yes it can be. The very strongest actually make a great deal of money, don’t be fooled by thinking the market can run away on them, sure it can happen but not in these times, right now they can douse any flames either side of the ledger. But on smaller players the market can run and run and kill you dead.
This post does not even suggest what you do, and anyone who listens to folk here and then takes action upon it, well that’s fine BUT that action is all yours, always all yours.
I have removed any recommendations because even if I had them showing, what are they to do with anyone else, who knows each of our situations? Silly if you ask me.
