    A member of the accounting firm KPMG was engaged as the fund's compliance plan auditor. The fund entered into a large number of lossmaking transactions, including transactions with related parties, which were not in accordance with the fund's compliance plan. It was alleged that if the auditor had detected the breaches, then the losses would not have been suffered.
