IF then yes I agree. But from a governance perspective surely you would just avoid perceived or actual conflict of interest. I would never lease personally owned property or property I had an interest in to a public company I worked or contracted to.
Hypothetical as I don't know if this IS the case. But there's quite a bit of conjecture on here about it.
