When this board came in I always said they would be temporary. Of course I got shot down for it. They actually lasted longer than I thought, and did more for you than I expected. But they were just that, temporary replacements.

So you either be grateful they righted the company and kept it alive for you and look forward to your new board moving it forward, or wallow in then making their money and running.

I’d suggest the former.
