@JCoure; some of those companies are responsible for world worst environmental ecocide / cultural annihilation practices and it comes as no surprise that some investors are now deserting them.
There are much better Australian companies out there who deserve support from investors / consumers than that lot - we us RED Energy for our electricity and gas supply; 100% Australian, very fair pricing and great support [they're owned by Snowy Hydro].
